Beauty and the Beast

I read "Beauty and the Beast".
 In the village, there is a girl named Belle who. She lives with her father. She is very tired because she is constantly hit on by the guy called Gaston. One day her father was trapped in the castle which the beast live in. As a result, she stepped in by accident and met the beast. Gradually they both fell in love each other. Finally the beast found out a true love, and he managed to turn into the appearance as he used to be.
Reading this story, I thought that author wanted to convey that the personality is more important than the looks.
